New App/Why do I have 2 apps?

In the fall of 2021 we migrated to a new iOS application. Previously our surveys were a Progressive Web App, don't worry about what that is :), our new iOS app gives us a lot more control over your experience.

Some devices during the transition will have 2 apps installed, the old and the new. Unfortunately, we can't automatically remove the old app due to limitations in iOS.

If you find yourself asking, which app to use, use the one that say "Pulse Kiosk."

If you would like to remove the old app, we would love to help you just reach out and let us know and we will walk you through the steps.

Bennefits of the new app:

  • Automatic Kiosk Mode, this automatically locks the app preventing other uses of the device.
  • Ability to remotely launch the app. During troubleshooting, we can remotely launch the app.
  • Better diagnositcs, the app reports back data about your device, including the power/charging state. This can help us tell you if the device is offline due to internet or power issues.
